Unit 40 Elk and Deer Hunts

Chadd and Troy have an excellent outfitt. Great folks, very accommodating, extremely fun to be with and make you feel very welcomed. I will forever involve Chadd in my future elk hunting trips. He genuinely has your best interest in your hunt. For anyone reading this, I have hunted elk for the past 24 years. They run the best outfit for the money out west. Period. Not to mention they both know more about hunting than most anyone as well. Thank you Chadd!! We appreciate all you do for us hunters!

Chad and his team run an efficient operation. The accommodations are perfect for a hunt camp. Rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The meals prepared by Jim keep you full all day and taste darn good too. The land has undulating topography that makes for exciting glassing spots with many lanes for review of animals on property. The team on site can make the hunt as difficult or as easy depending on your fitness level. That’s something that makes this place special for spending time with your older parents or family etc. You will have many opportunities on elk. The guides who assist you with the hunt are top notch good folks you want to sit down and have a beer with. All in all this was a worth while experience and money well spent. We will be back.

What an amazing experience! My husband was diagnosed with ALS in Dec. 23. He is a former LEO and veteran. We reached out to several hunting outfitters to see who could and would be willing to help my husband with his dream elk hunt. Chad at Twisted Tine Outfitters was the only response. He was incredibly accommodating to my husband’s mobility challenges and made sure he had the best experience possible. The lodge was set in the middle of what seemed like no where and the views were breathtaking. Chad, Troy, Peyton, and Jim made our full experience phenomenal. Chad and his guides were very knowledgeable and hospitable. Everyone killed monster bulls and I got my cow. The lodge is pretty sweet and the ranch is beautiful. I really appreciated the change in terrain on the property and the diversity of habitat. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and I will be back in the future, thanks guys.

We booked a hunt for our 10 year wedding anniversary and this outfitter did not disappoint. Chad went above and beyond to make our trip memorable and get us our cow and bull elk. The staff is professional, the accommodations are comfortable, and the food Jim cooks up is amazing! The view of the mountains from the cabin were an added bonus.
